The deadline for ‘The 1820s: Innovation and Diffusion’ is coming up in a couple of weeks (on Friday November 30th); until then, we’re welcoming abstracts for 20-minute papers on any aspect of the 1820s and for 5-minute presentations pitching keywords for exploring the decade. We’ve had a considerable number of great abstracts already, but more are always welcome.

We’re also glad to announce that the Bibliographical Society has very kindly provided us with funds to support a number of studentships for postgraduates working on book-historical topics who wish to present at the conference. These will cover the conference fee, and all eligible submissions will be considered for these.
